SOUTH CHARLESTON — Turley Richards performed for a packed house at
the Labelle theater in South Charleston. The crowd was full of old
classmates, friends and family. Richards was blinded at an early age.
According to his web page, his disability led to his love of music and
his success on the Billboard Charts. He has several hits, and has had
four singles that charted through the 1970s and 1980s. He currently
lives in Louisville and teaches music when he is not out on the road
performing.
